the music reviews
José Luis Encinas is exceptional. He possesses duende. He captures the spirit of the moment in his music. Similar to the tone poems of Debussy. There are two kinds of storytellers. When one of them talks, you are merely listening. When the other one talks, you are part of the story. You close your eyes to see the landscape and feel the emotions. José is the latter type. Listen to the track, Pegasus and you are riding a massive winged horse. You can feel the movement of its wings. You are aloft and galloping over the clouds. You have two handfuls of mane and eternity before you. I think you will find Encinas to be a very refreshing change. To horse!
